The Museum of Florida History located in Tallahassee preserves artifacts that reflect the diverse cultures and environments that have shaped Florida. 4. When on tour at the
Museum you will see many
artifacts of very early time
periods such as the 15th, 16th
and 17th centuries of when
Spanish explorers known as
Conquistadors explored
the United States.
Inside you will enter a room
where there are 13 portraits
of Spanish Conquistadors
and how each of them have
a story of their own to tell
and for you to learn all
about how they conquered
many places and won many

5. Our Mastodon exhibit which was found in Wakulla springs in
1930 standing 9 feet high and weighed nearly seven tons.
Check out our civil war site which shows uniforms of
southern soldiers and tools that were used during the time
The citrus packing house exhibit which shows you a taste of
how Florida's oranges were packed and shipped all along the
United States
Our 1925 Henry Fords Model T cars and how people
transformed these cars into on of the first ever campers and
shows the first forms of transportation in Florida!
