My family and I spent our vacation time visiting several regions in Colombia. We started in Boyac叩 where we saw the Puente de Boyac叩 bridge and important sites from Colombia's independence movement. Next we traveled to Santander, taking in the mountains, plains and Chicamocha Canyon. We then went to Magdalena, enjoying the sunsets and statues, before heading to Cartagena in Bolivar, where we photographed the historic center and Castle of San Felipe. Later in Antioquia, we visited Medellin and the town of Guatap辿, climbing the 650 steps to the top of the El Pe単ol Stone for views of lakes and landscapes, before returning home to Bogot

Myparents,sisterandmespendourvacationtimeindifferentplacesand departmentsinColombia. Boyac叩 Our trip starts in Boyac叩, where we visited a National Monument. In this place one of the most important battles took place. Here our independence process started. This is the Puente de Boyac叩 (Boyac叩 Bridge), a very cold and beautiful place.
Santander Then we drove to Santander by car. There we met wonderful mountains and plains, where theres a big animal (ant) as insignia. We also visited The Chicamocha Canyon. We didnt use the Metro Cable System, but we enjoyed the landscapes.
Magdalena The following day we went to the department of Magdalena, where we could see this beautiful sunset, as well as wonderful landscapes. There are also statues of some characters which are representative of this region.
Bol鱈var Then we drove to the department of Bolivar, where we could meet and enjoy the colonial walled city: Cartagena. There we took some photos on the historic center, the Castle of San Felipe and the Clock Tower.
Antioquia Some days later we went to Antioquia. We visited some places in Medellin, but also a wonderful town called Guatap辿. There we found the El Pe単ol Stone, a big stone with 650 steps to reach the top, from where we could see lakes and beautiful landscapes.
And finally we got home: Bogot叩
