Today's classroom tour will explore some of the ancient wonders of the world including the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, Stonehenge in England, the Coliseum in Rome, Machu Picchu in Peru, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. Students will answer questions about each site and what people might have brought into pyramids, why Stonehenge was built, what role they would play in Coliseum games, why the Spanish evacuated Machu Picchu, and why the Leaning Tower of Pisa leans. For a writing assignment, students will describe places they would like to visit in the future and why.

Today, we will be touring some of the different
wonders, traveling from our classroom to Europe and
learning a bit about the Ancient Wonders of the World!
There wont be homework to do with this, but I will
want you to write a bit from the questions I post at the
bottom for me to get an idea about your writing styles
