The PowerSpout PLT uses a Pelton wheel (impulse turbine) with 1 or 2 jets ranging from 2-25mm each. It can handle a maximum water flow rate of 10 l/s and has a static head range of 3-160m and dynamic head range of 3-130m. The Pelton wheel has 20 spoons made of nylon with a maximum diameter of 290mm.
