2. The power of
thank you
is a simple topic, but underestimated and chalked up as a
cliche by most. Cliche or not, its a game changer for
everyone, and you can put it to use right now. In the final
episode of MindPower, Season One, allows both Rachel
and Shane Krider to say thank you to their fans for
helping to make their first season such an amazing
success. See a snippet below about the power of thank
you, and what the words mean to your inner power as a
human being.
3. Rachel:
Hello there, folks! Thank you, thank you, thank you, for
tuning in! We are here on the home stretch episode
number 57, the final episode of our first season the
power of thank you. I would like to express my gratitude for
the message that went out yesterday. Many of you know
that it was going to be our final episode of the season. I got
so many messages of gratitude and thanks so I want to
express my thank you for all of those messages.
4. Shane:
Thank you guys, very much. I appreciate your listening and
your attention. We get a lot of comments, shares, and
emails and that means a lot to us. I think its appropriate to
have our last show here to be about thank you.
One of our very first episodes we did under Born to Proper
was actually a live video stream that was about gratitude.
So thank you and gratitude are obviously similar things, but
whats the difference between the two?
5. Rachel:
Well, with gratitude youre acknowledging and giving thanks
for things that you have in your life and expressing your
appreciation to the universe if you will, other people, etc.
Whereas when youre giving thanks I dont know, what is
the difference, Shane?
6. Shane:
So gratitude in general is just the feeling of being grateful.
Its acknowledging to yourself, to the universe, even to
others that you're grateful. Thank you specifically is
acknowledging to another human being by telling another
human being thank you.
In fact, some people are harder to thank than others
because they seem to cause us challenges, but sometimes
we benefit from those challenges. Regardless of of those
challenges, theres value. And sometimes, the most
important people to thank are the hardest people to thank.
7. Shane:
Think about the teacher that just gave you a hard time all
the time. It wasnt because they were trying to make you a
better person, but because they just liked to give people a
hard time. Imagine thanking that person, whether its a
parent, a spouse, a sibling, a friend you grew up with. Its
hard.
You want to change your life, but you have to change the
role that you're playing in life. Most of us are playing the
victim, to some degree. But to truly give thanks to someone
is to reverse that. To me, thank you is one of the easiest
ways to access your inner power as a being.
