The builders had been preparing to move the toilet block beside Room 15 for several weeks. They disconnected utilities and secured the area. On the scheduled day, a large digger created a path for trucks to access the toilet block. A blue tractor flattened the ground while another vehicle backed up a trailer underneath the toilet block. The toilet block was then secured to the trailer and slowly began moving down the hill as children watched. It took over two hours but the toilet block was eventually lifted off by a crane truck and placed on its new foundations, with the process completed within the day as planned.

Philip Garland is president of Lexington Land Developers, a residential land development company in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Garland founded the company in 1981 and has completed numerous beautiful housing developments in the Keystone State over the past 43 years.

Philip Garland of Lancaster, PA, attended Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology for two years, graduating in 1981. He studied carpentry and was a top graduate. The school recognized his achievements by awarding him the most honorable and highest award upon graduating. The award, which dates back to 1920, is only given to one graduate every year.
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is a prestigious residential two-year college in Pennsylvania that prepares students for high-demand careers.
