The Swedish Center Foundation has organized annual workshops since 2013 to gather ideas on celebrating the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Sweden in 2018. The upcoming workshop on May 23rd will bring together up to 70 people to discuss potential ideas in areas like education, healthcare for the elderly, student exchanges, economic cooperation, food, tourism, and festivals that Japan and Sweden could implement together to mark the milestone anniversary in 2018.
