Germany lost over 100 generals during World War 2, with children as young as 12 fighting for their countries and over 200,000 female veterans in 2002, representing 4.4% of total veterans, as children were also greatly affected by the war, in which Germany was the only nation to officially declare war on the United States and many weapons were utilized across the various fronts and theaters of the global conflict.
