I have always been a lover of all things media.
From playing drums in marching band to Djing and writing for my school newspaper and in college, creativity and being ahead of the curve has been a part of my DNA.
However, my life changed when I heard social media icon David Meerman Scott speak at the University of Akron in 2008.
I learned that not only could I create content but also publish it.
Since then I have created social media campaigns, taught new media classes, launched blogs, podcasts, shot video as well as used my leadership skills to shape the future of an alumni.
However, all of this started with one speech one cold night in Akron, Ohio and I haven't looked back since.
