Jesus loved me so much that He would allow Himself, the creator of everything, to be beaten so badly He was not recognizable as a human being. To be whipped so many times His back was an open filet of flesh. To be abandoned by those who followed Him. Spit on, cursed at, betrayed, and to be crucified on the cross and die all for my sin. For every time I rebelled against Him, left Him, deserted Him, and said no to Him. He forgives me out of His unconditional, selfless, everlasting love for me. How can I not show this same love to others?
