Currently I am doing my doctoral programme on Changing Market Structure and Marketing Efficiency in Fruits and Vegetables in India: A Case Study of Tamil Nadu. I have also worked in various national and international org. on agriculture related issues. Recently I have done extensive survey in Tamil Nadu to understand the farming activities in Tamil Nadu and Marketing structure and the functions of markets in agriculture sector, with special focuses on horticulture sector. I really enjoyed this field trip, but I felt there is lot more things can be done in the state.
