I teach Pre-Diploma Biology HL and SL as well as Pre-Diploma Environmental Science HL. I have taught IB Biology SL and Chemistry Honors in my time at Lausanne, as well. I am responsible for aligning the curriculum to bridge middle school science with the IB curriculum adopted by the upper school in 2010. I am developing the newly instated Pre-Diploma Biology HL and SL courses to include those skills necessary for success in the IB program. This year I am including the flipped classroom design in the Pre-Diploma Biology HL course to increase student's interest, motivation and ownership. Development of activities, laboratories and study materials is ongoing.
