I'm interested in qualitative consciousness research through meditation and contemplative traditions philosophy. Attending the Center of Studies A.S.I.A. in Bologna I discovered the deep link between Occidental Phenomenology, Heidegger's Existentialism, more recent Neurophenomenology and Buddhist soteriology. The question if this link may help psychological theraphy (especially in anxiety and dissociative disorders, as well as in the common lost of life's sense and meaning) remains open, because there is still not any integration of Buddhist philosophy in our culture.
