I am the father of a child that suffered from severe Autism who now is completely recovered. I am the founder of the nonprofit organization Stop Calling It Autism! We launched a national online medical disease registry for the purpose of better understanding the role of chronic infections, inflammatory disorders, immune system disorders and brain's immune system activation in children with autism, pervasive developmental disorder (PDD), and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Recent evidence suggests these as a part of the underlying disease process in autism. This will also help parents and physicians better understand what can be done to treat children with autism medically. http://www.
