With over 40 years of hands-on experience in the myriad facets of Media Affairs, I realized during my student years itself that in the growing Democracy of India, a free media is going to play a pivotal role. From my student days itself, I jumped into the public arena and was adjudged the Best Debator of the prestigious Delhi University in 1979. I realized that if our youth were to carry forward the tradition of selfless public service as was shown by our great freedom fighters, the vehicle of the Media would be best suited to my objective of Public Service. This drive culminated in my starting and running for over 25 years till today, the well-acclaimed and independent fortnightly magazine
