I'm a Navy brat, a Navy veteran and a 19-year Navy wife. Because of our lifestyle, I'm a stay-at-home mom in order to be the one constant in our kids' lives. It's a privilege and a joy! I am blessed in life and don't take anything for granted. Since graduating from high school, I've spent seven years in Spain, two years in Wales, five-and-a-half years in Florida, three-and-a-half years in Illinois, three years in Maine and now we're in Maryland...if you want some math, that makes 11 houses for nine tours of duty and eight schools between my two kids. Our roots don't go deep, but we grow them quick! I was active duty Navy for five years and married my husband in December of '93, right
