I completed my PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology in the Medical Sciences from the University of Cape Town (UCT). I then did postdoctoral research training in Medical Virology at UCT. I am currently Executive Director for Research Chairs & Centers of Excellence at the National Research Foundation. been an Executive Director: Institutional Engagement and Partnership Development (IEPD) and also Acting as ED: Human and Infrastructure Capacity Development (HICD).
