Matthew Altier is a graduate of Cal State University, Cum Laude, where he earned his B.S. in Industrial Technology, and earned an A.S. degree from Yuba College and another A.S. degree from the Community College of the Air Force, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. He holds a specialist degree from the U.S. Air Force in air traffic control and voice communications and is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Inspector General Internal Auditing and Quality Control Technical Training School.
In addition to his educational background in industrial technology and engineering, Altier served ten years in the U.S. Air Force as an air traffic controller and chief of design and construction.
