I'm excited to find a home for my first book, a middle-grade novel called MY LIFE AFLOAT. Readers 8-13 years old will ride the emotional waves with my 12-year-old protagonist when she learns both of her parents have lost their jobs. As her family sells their house and cars, Maeve loses her sense of stability. How can a 12-year-old possibly help her family get out of such a horrible mess?
