Tolik Nixon is a DJ, Producer and a major player in both Step Forward and Intune & Becool Records. Before taking up his residency at the Oyster Afterparty on Sundays at Public Life in 2011, Tolik played at various smaller, independent parties across London.
Originally from Russia, Tolik went in 2007 to Kazantip Music Festival in Ukraine. Here he saw a 4 hour set from Richie Hawtin, amongst other international DJs and this became a major influence in his development as a DJ.
A regular in Ibiza, Tolik is a big fan of DC-10, Ibiza Underground, Zoo Project, Kehakuma and Cocoon, and this is reflected in his musical style.
