About
I grew up in a small town in Michigan, but I always dreamed of something bigger and better.
Staring at age eight, I traveled for the summer with my grandparents in Florida. I started free-diving, learned photography, and I got to see that there is so much more to the world than I ever imagined. I continued my summers in Florida until I became a teenager. I did travel from time to time after that, but I never truly felt satisfied.
In my late twenties I fell into a slump. I was working in retail; I was broke; I hated life. In 2009, I decided to go backpacking through Europe. I saved and planned for months, and then I ventured out alone into the great unknown- my trip was life changing. As so
