The University of North Carolina Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center is the only public National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in North Carolina. Our faculty provide comprehensive, expert and compassionate care for those with cancer at the N.C. Cancer Hospital. Our research, from the laboratory, in the community or inside the exam room, is focused on advancing our understanding the causes of cancer and translating those findings into pioneering and innovative treatments.
