She is currently in the dissertation stage of her doctoral program in Education at Walden University. As well, Mrs. McKinney is a graduate of the University of Memphis. While completing her B.A. in Psychology & M.S. in Psychology at the U of M, she was a member of Kappa Delta Pi Educational Honor Society, Chi Beta Phi Scientific Fraternity, Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society, Black Scholars Unlimited, & the Council of Eighty.
