Vaia Gkerliotou is a Greece based architect and computational designer. She is the founder of vaia|studio, a professional architectural design practice in Greece and Research experimental Design Laboratory on interactive and computational geometry, and is researching on testing of smart materials for human scale use. She is a collaborator / researcher at rat[LAB], operating from Greece and is currently focussed on developing a research on adaptive skins for human body. She has served as a juror at Central Saint Martins University, London and has taught at workshops at RoboFold where she worked as an architect/computational designer.
