I've tackled a wide variety of jobs over the years, from serving as an Infantry officer in the US Army (9 years) and a risk manager for FleetBoston Financial / Bank of America (7 years) to consulting (3 years) and writing (mystery and science fiction novels published by St. Martin's Press and Harper Collins).
I currently write advertising copy and corporate communications for Fidelity Investments. I remain active in risk management, having published three articles in Risk Management Magazine concerning financial crises.
