I am currently completing a Ph.D. at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto (OISE/UT). My research is concerned with the potential uses of online spaces and Web 2.0 technologies for teaching and learning. My doctoral dissertation investigates how wikis and other social media can support collaborative knowledge construction in science education. Other interests include cognitively informed instruction, computer-mediated conferencing, and electronic discourse.
