Volunteer Burnaby is a key resource for volunteer involvement in Burnaby, New Westminster and the surrounding region. We provide a variety of functions for our communities, including: promoting volunteerism community, training and assisting non-profit organizations, recruiting and referring volunteers to opportunities, recognizing volunteers and numerous individual programs designed to mobilize volunteers to address community needs. We provide these functions through developing and sustaining partnerships, participation in local and regional media campaigns, and through strengthening of the local infrastructure in which to support volunteers and volunteer efforts.
