I was once a child who had dreams,
a teen scared of her own mind,
a student unwilling to learn the way people usually do,
a female eager to find her equal in another person in her own terms.
Now I am simply an aggregate of all these; albeit less ambitious, more realistic and open to change, less easily fooled.
I am in the process of learning how to pretend to fit in in this society enough to be able to function within it, without losing my sense of what I wish to be - and so far I believe and hope I could change the parts of the world I see as unfit in my own ways. I am what others would call in the process of maturing. I laugh seeing that it's not really about who you are that you change
