I am a serious, experienced, successful freelance public relations professional.  I am also a lifelong supporter of, and active in, progressive, left-wing, liberal Democratic policies.  My proudest moment was being appointed by the Carter Administration to serve as Advisor on Communications Policy to U.S. Secretary of Energy James Schlesinger.  I had input on all the Department of Energy's energy awareness and information outreach activities.  I am particularly proud of having enlisted the aid of Hollywood film and television producers who worked energy-saving messages and activities into their scripts.
