Yoshi Abe worked on design projects for SONY, HSBC, BVLGARI and banks in Japan. He is the winner of the prestigious Good Design Award, and writes for Japanese publications. Born to the family of 14th generation traditional Japanese furniture maker, he originally studied woodworking in Tokyo and California, and then industrial design at Pratt Institute in New York City. Yoshi worked as an assistant designer to Eiko Ishioka, the Oscar-winning art director.
