The Antarctic Youth Ambassador Programme (AYAP) selected 30 young people from around the world to take part in the International Antarctic Expedition (IAE) from 28 February to 14 March 2013.
The mission for the IAE Expeditions is to engage and inspire the next generation of leaders to take responsibility, be sustainable, and know that now is the time for action in policy development, sustainable business generation through the promotion of recycling, renewable energy and sustainability thus protecting Antarctica beyond 2041.
