My career aim is to work in New York or Washington DC in finance technology or emerging market finance in Latin America. ------ I'm fluent in Spanish, and spent the past five years living in Latin America working with four different Microlending organizations. Before studying at Columbia, I helped to launch the operations for Edify's small business loan program to low-cost Christian schools in Lima, Peru and in Guatemala. I lived in four different countries to do research and to assess the viability of the Edify program by visiting 68 schools, meeting with 12 different organizations, and working through the due diligence process with the Edify Latin America team.
