Dr. Abdullah Wardak, a veteran leader in the Drug Demand Reduction scenario in Afghanistan took charge as the Chief Officer and head of the Colombo Plan, Kabul Office in May 2012.
He was the founder of the Drug Demand Reduction Department in the Ministry of Public Health and was serving as its Director when he assumed his new job. Colombo Plan manages several Drug Demand Reduction programs in Afghanistan including drug prevention and treatment projects.
