Adan grew up in the Cd. Juarez-El Paso area. He left once he realized there were other worlds. He went to St. Mary's University in San Antonio where he endured some intense moments of religiosity until he came to his senses.
After a year abroad in Spain, he ended up in Madison (Wisconsin) hoping to find something different...and he did, enjoying it all for 6 years until he was told he could not prolong his adolesence after 2 graduate degrees! So he moved to Santa Barbara in 1989, entering the late 20th century all at once when he bought a TV, a microwave and later a car.
