Depletion of fossil fuel resources and stringent
environmental laws have forced EMJAC Green
Technologies Sdn Bhd (EMJAC) to develop TRU
facilities energy recovery from waste tyre.
Waste tyre is one of the major solid wastes in the
automotive sector. These has an adverse impact on
the environment if they are not disposed properly.
Furthermore, tyres are a source of high-grade energy,
hence its improper disposal means wastage of energy.
Our Research & Development Team successfully
formulate our TRU technology to produce 45% of Euro
Grade 2 diesel, 35% of refined carbon black, 10% of
stainless steel wires and balance of 10% synthetic
gas.

EMJAC BUSINESS MODEL
6
 State-of-the-art blockchain technology to
provide transparency and traceability
across the logistics flow of recycled tyres
supply chain.
Fueled by EMJ native token grants users
access to monitor the movement of the
whole waste recycling process, buy, sell
and token exchange generated
renewable energy.
The system is built upon IoT automation
and IBM Hyperledger Fabric to track
waste tyre consignments all the way from
yards to TRU Facilities
EMJAC
EMJAC Trading Platform

EMJAC Marketplace is based on EMJ
Token for all trading activities on the
platform but not limited only to trading,
settlement of contracts
It also allows the trading of options and
futures on commodities
Users will be able to list Smart Contracts,
view contract details, order books and
placing buy and sell orders
EMJAC
Market Opportunity
A cash-based business with the negligible debtor and creditor risk LOW
FINANCIAL RISK
The waste tires are procured FOC from UK and US with shipping costs of
USD 60 per ton LOW SUPPLY RISK
Long term supply contracts with UK suppliers and buyers for the recycled
products - HIGH DEMAND
TRU is NOT INCINERATION OR BIO-DIESEL. TRU is a mature technology
 LOW POLUTION RISK
Daily capacity of 100 ton per day with a total of 30,000 ton waste tyres
per year SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS MODEL

TRU products are sold as commodities:
 Diesel (USD 500 per ton)
Refined Carbon Black (USD 450 per ton)
Steel wires (USD 150 per ton)
 Synthetic Gas (reused for co-generation)
EMJAC
EMJAC Thermal Recovery Unit (TRU) adopted Advanced Continuous (Air-lock System) Pyrolysis ensure 100%
recovery of value-added products from solid or liquid waste substance in the absence of oxygen.
The patented Air-lock System allows operation in fully closed environment technology with NO release of
harmful emission that differentiate us from the traditional pyrolysis process.
 3 main characteristics of TRU:
ADVANCED refined high end grade and value of liquid component (diesel) and solid component
(carbon black)
CONTINUOUS designed to allow continuous entry of raw material (crushed waste tyres) from one side
and discharged products (diesel, carbon black, stainless steel wire and syngas) on the
another side.
AIR-LOCK SYSTEM raw material feeding system prevents the entry of external oxygen into the reactor
Equipped with Centralized and Dedicated Control Unit for process monitoring and operations control.
THERMAL RECOVERY UNIT (TRU) Plant
EMJAC
THERMAL RECOVERY UNIT (TRU) Plant
5 components of Advanced Continuous (Air-lock System) Pyrolysis:
i. Waste Tyres Crusher Crushing waste tyres into smaller pieces; 50mm to 80mm.
ii. Pyrolysis Process Thermal decomposition of waste tyres producing 45% black oil, 35% carbon black, 10% steel
wires and 10% syngas.
iii. Distillation Process Evaporation and condensation to harvest diesel substances
iv. Carbon Black Granulation Process Refining coarse carbon black into N330, N550, N660 and N774 sizes.
v. Metal Hard Pressing Process Hard-pressed loose steel pieces into metal bales.
The maximum capacity of this facility is 100 tons per day.
EMJAC
TRU Process
1. Gas fuel enters the heating kiln (burner), providing heat energy to pyrolysis reactor.
2. Exhaust gas is scrubbed clean prior to release.
3. The waste tyres are crushed into smaller pieces and enter the continuous pyrolysis
plant via air-lock system, eliminating external oxygen from entering the pyrolysis
reactor.
4. Screw drive feeds the crushed waste tyres into the pyrolysis reactor.
5. Chemical reaction for pyrolysis occurs at a temperature between 300c to 400c. Oil
vapors and gasses are extracted from the heating process.
6. Gases are separated and oil vapors are condensed.
7. The syngas is purified and channeled back to fuel the heating reactor.
8. The harvested oil (black oil) is filtered and excessive water vapor is removed
before fed into the distillation plant to produce high grade synthetic diesel.
9. The residue carbon and steel pieces are separated into smaller pieces and pass
through a magnetic separator. Steel pieces are fed into the hard-pressed metal
baler for compaction.
10. Carbon black are fed into the granule machine for refining process.
