Aftan developed his passion for the restaurant business as a teenager in Doylestown, Pennsylvania working for one of the last great restaurateurs in America, and former President of the National Restaurant Association, Walter J. Conti at The Cross Keys Inn. There, he learned the discipline and skills necessary to succeed in the business. Aftan has been a foodservice professional for 30 years.
