Dr Ramezanzadeh was involved with stability analysis and support design for underground powerhouse cavern in Karun 3 scheme, one of the biggest hydroelectric power plants in Iran. Following to his graduation, he gained more experiences in stability analysis, support design and rock mass characterization in several hard rock tunnel projects.
Before undertaking his PhD study, he was the head of underground structures department in SCE Company. He was closely involved with project management for design of more than 10 different medium size hard rock tunnel projects in Iran. His duties have included supervising and coordinating the work of teams of engineers and technical personnel.
