I was fortunate to be confronted at several occasions in my career to the problem of establishing and sustaining new professional cultures in multidisciplinary, multicultural environments.
My eight years attachment with the University of Mauritius as the first appointed Director of the Virtual Center for Innovative Learning Technologies taught me to create a culture of trust at the center of which individuals comfortably adapt to changing priorities of their community. I learned to coach leaders in their active search for environmental signals that help them improve their organizational context.
