The GCM range of TIVA infusion sets incorporate all the required aspects of safety compliance [SALG] with useful innovative features such as the fully kink prevention bend and terrific LineLok fixation device. Dead space and the risk of inadvertent disconnection or leaking has been minimised. The problem of inadvertent occlusion has been virtually eliminated. The valves are excellent and the cannula/syringe connections are positive. Having used a wide variety of TIVA set-ups over the last 25 years, it is very reassuring that a range is now commercially available that ticks all the right boxes at a reasonable price.
