Originally interested in the energy sector, I have spent three years of my undergraduate studies focusing on renewable energy, and prospects of renewables in the EU in particular. As a result, I have written two theses: on the EEG (Erneurbare Energien Gesetz) in Germany and on the EU-wide 2009/28/EC Directive dealing with promotion of alternative energy and energy-efficient technologies.
