Ambrose Furey graduated from Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) with a BSc. (H) in Analytical Chemistry with Quality Assurance and a PhD in Analytical and Natural Product Chemistry.
Dr Furey is a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, CIT and directs the Mass Spectrometry Research Centre (MSRC) that incorporates the PROTEOBIO and Team Elucidate research groups and is one of the original PI鈥檚 at CIT鈥檚 HEA funded (PRTLI V) Centre for Research in Advanced Therapeutic Engineering (CREATE).
Dr Furey has carried out research on 14 completed projects and has 11 live projects. Since 2002 he has secured funding to the value of 鈧�2.6 million from National and EU funding agencies. Dr Furey h
