I recently earned National Board Certification in English Language Arts for Adolescents and Young Adults. I chose to challenge myself to achieve certification because I wanted to test my abilities against national professional standards and to improve my ability to help my students improve their skills.
I am a dedicated and innovative teacher works to help students become better thinkers, readers and writers. I love opportunities to collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum, expand my knowledge of writing and literature, share effective strategies and remain energized as a life-long learner.
