Foreman High School has a student population that is over 65% Hispanic, about 25% Black, and the remainder white. It is a neighborhood school with around 2,000 students and offers sports and afterschool programs. Prosser High School's student body is over 50% Hispanic and the rest are mostly Black. It is a career academy school that has stricter admission standards than a neighborhood school. The two schools both have large Hispanic populations and offer similar sports and afterschool activities. However, Prosser is a career academy while Foreman is a neighborhood school, and Foreman has more students than Prosser. The author prefers Prosser because it is a career academy that will help them be more successful and attend college,
