Back in those days, madh island was inhabited by fierce creatures who stole and plundered, and one needed guile, swift-footedness, and a sharp tongue to survive. Survive I did, and moved on to educate myself in the finest masonries in all Albion. There, I overdosed on education and even considered being a teacher and writer. However, after several trysts with guilt-ridden self-sabotage, I gave up the professional pursuit of knowledge, and have, more or less settled down to a life of corporate monotony and amoral self-reflection. Perhaps this suits me best.
