Since the age of fifteen, when I volunteered to organize The Harry Potter Book Club at my local library, I have been interested in engaging children in reading and creative exploration. As a teacher I want to be able to influence the way that kids seek out their own learning experiences. I feel that this can be done best through literature and through opening their eyes to the world of reading. Virtually anything you want to learn can be found in a book and learning a passion for reading and writing can bring you to so many places.
