Dr Andy Chow is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering, UCL. His research lies in developing tools for analysing and managing dynamic systems and infrastructure. His doctoral research on optimal control of dynamic transport networks received a Gordon Newell Memorial Dissertation Prize in 2008. In 2007-10, Andy participated in a number of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) projects at University of California at Berkeley. Since joining UCL in May 2010, he has been fully involved in projects carried out at Centre for Transport Studies and SpaceTime Lab which include "STANDARD", real-time rail signal control, urban traffic management...
