I am the author of The Real Sherlock Holmes: The Hidden Story of Jerome Caminada (Pen & Sword, 2014). I write about social history for a wide range of magazines, newspapers and blogs. Recent work has featured in the Sunday Express, All About History and WDYTYA? magazine. An experienced speaker, I enjoy giving talks on Victorian crime and have taken part in the Manchester Histories Festival and the Henley Literary Festival.
