Native to Hawaii, I relocated to Los Angeles, California to attend UCLA and ended up working for over 14 years in student affairs and TRiO Programs there. I finally moved "home," gaining over six more years of work experience in the field of education. After 20 years of encouraging student success, I have returned to school, pursuing my doctoral degree with the USC Rossier School of Education Hawaii cohort program. I consider myself a "Brojan."
