My decision to begin my scientific career at the CNIO was inspired by the biological and social implications of oncological work. However, during my PhD I realised that with the narrow focus on a particular protein it is all too easy to forget to share my passion for science with people that have not experienced it. As a result of my determination to keep my own perspective fresh and to share my life-long passion with others, I started my own science blog: concienciados.es.
