I am a forensic anthropologist and biomedical scientist. I am interested in biological processes, specifically in genotype to phenotype processes. My forensic anthropology research focuses on morphology of trauma and diseases, as well as computational solutions (especially machine-learning) to analyses and render accurately remains and their environment. My biomedical research is specialized in the role of lipid metabolism in both autoimmune (with focus on Multiple Sclerosis) and infectious diseases.
My other focus is on diagnostic technology and clinical guidelines for HIV/TB and neglected diseases for use in resource limited countries or communities.
